It’s nice to be able to save videos and watch them at another time. Especially if you want to take a copy and put it on your phone or tablet and watch it on there when there’s no WiFi. Most browsers don’t come with that feature though so we have to find alternatives to download videos with. You might’ve even used a site like SaveFrom.net in the past but it’s not the optimal solution.
For years now, I’ve been using my own easy method to download videos from any site. All it requires is a simple browser installation. Here’s how:
Download Videos From Any Site Using Torch Browser
Torch Browser lets you download videos from any site using its built-in “video grabber” feature and it only takes about 5 minutes to install. The great thing about Torch is that it uses the exact same interface as Google Chrome—a browser that most of us are already very familiar with. You can even download Chrome extensions onto Torch Browser like you would in Google Chrome.
The difference is, whenever you play a video using Torch, the browser will automatically detect that a video is playing and a video grabber icon in your extension icons bar will flash. Clicking the icon will install the video that’s being played to your default download folder.
In order to download the highest quality copy of the video you’re playing, make sure you change the resolution before hitting the download button. It’ll make a big difference.
